Welcome to Bloom Learning LLC, where we are dedicated to fostering workplace belonging, driving cultural change, and promoting equity across organizations!
We envision a world where equity is the norm, and where every individual feels a true sense of belonging. We believe that by working together, we can create workplaces and classrooms that honor and value the uniqueness of every person.
Our mission is to empower organizations to become agents of positive change. We partner with businesses, educational institutions, nonprofits, and governmental agencies to develop customized strategies that embed equity and belonging into the fabric of their operations. We strive to cultivate environments where everyone's voice is heard, perspectives are respected, and opportunities are accessible to all.

Erica B. Edwards, Ph.D.
She/Her
Dr. Erica Edwards is an educational researcher/evaluator, scholar-activist, and educator with 20 years of experience facilitating organizational change for and with under-represented groups. Her expertise is in educational policy change and organizational effectiveness, particularly as it relates to supporting the needs of women and girls of color. As a sought after writer and speaker, she has published and presented her work both nationally and abroad. Her philosophy of leadership and change centers on building group solidarity and consensus toward antiracist policy change through data-driven decision making. Dr. Edwards lives with her husband, Jonathan, and their two sons, Mays and Asa, in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Sherell A. McArthur, Ph.D.
She/Her
Sherell A. McArthur, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Education, a community-engaged scholar, and a mother. Her research has served to transform and disrupt educational practices for girls of color and marginalized children and youth. She strives to shape the national conversation on educational justice for girls of color, who have been historically underserved and support the next generation of university students who are seeking practical and intellectual pathways to meet some of the most pressing challenges encountered in urban schools. She has several published articles and book chapters on her work with Black girls.
